Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy works on the autonomic nervous system and puts us into the parasympathetic state so the body can heal. The Bowen technique is a very gentle form of natural healing that works on the fascia. It can address many issues such as migraines, repetitive strain injuries, frozen shoulder, planter fasciitis, respiratory and digestive issues and infertility. Bowen can not only have powerful effects on posture and structural problems, but our general well-being.
Cupping Massage Therapy
Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Cupping therapy has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has become popular in Western massage treatments over the last decade to help relieve musculoskeletal pain and tightness.

Fascia Decompression
The fascia system connects the body from head to toe. Fascia decompression is a powerful fascia release technique that improves your pain, posture, and overall health by combining Fluid Isometrics (fascial release using the hands) and Block Therapy (fascia release using a therapeutic aid called a Block Buddy). Fascia Decompression looks to find the source of pain and release it.
Fire Cupping
Fire Cupping stimulates the flow of blood and Qi (pronounced chee) within the superficial muscle layers. It is used for sore muscles, pain, common cold and asthma.
A therapeutic fire cupping treatment involves warming and placing cups made of glass, on the skin. By warming the air within the cup, a vacuum is created, and when it is applied to the skin, the tissue is drawn up into the cup. This increases the blood flow, loosens the fascia or connective tissue to stimulate healing. The cups are placed on the painful area and may also be moved as a form of massage. Fire cupping may cause temporary red marks depending upon the degree of suction created by the vacuum and the level of internal stagnation. In TCM, this is a favourable outcome and indicates the treatment has removed toxins and stagnation.
Benefits of Fire Cupping include:
-increased blood flow
-reduced inflammation
-stretching of the muscles and connective tissue
-loosening adhesions and fascial restrictions
Fire Cupping can also boost immunity by increasing lymphatic flow, optimization of athletic performance, increase relaxation and improve overall well-being.
Infrared Sauna

Iridology
Iridology is an alternative medicine modality that views the iris of your eye for health analysis. Information about your strength and weaknesses and the state of every organ in the body can be recorded and reflected in the iris. Iridology can show stress levels, cellular activity, inflammation, tension, and toxicity in the body.
Low Intensity Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is the use of monochromatic light emission from a low intensity laser diode or an array of high intensity Super Luminous Diodes to treat musculoskeletal injuries, chronic and degenerative conditions and to heal wounds. The light source is placed in contact with the skin allowing the photon energy to penetrate tissue, where it interacts with various intracellular biomolecules resulting in the restoration of normal cell function and enhancement of the body’s healing processes.
At Three Tides Wellness we use the Bioflex Laser Therapy System which is designed by clinicians for clinicians and is the gold standard in the industry. Approved by Health Canada for relief of pain, spasm, stiffness, muscle relaxation and increased circulation.
